Prime Freight is a Montreal freight forwarder that offers live ocean and air rates, booking and tracking through its own online platform. They designed and built their existing website with Claude and were generally happy with it, but they wanted a refreshed look and better graphics for the landing page.
I redesigned the home page to look cleaner and more modern, while keeping the existing content and the brand's blue-and-white palette. The rate search had to stay fully functional with every field, and the site needed to work across desktop, tablet and mobile.
I restructured the page so sections alternate between dark and light instead of relying on a theme switcher, and expanded the palette into a fuller range of navies and blues. The rate search moved to the centre of the hero as a single bar that condenses on tablet and stacks on mobile, and the 3D renders were replaced with line graphics drawn from the product itself, such as routes, ports and containers. I built it as a responsive coded prototype, with micro-interactions on every graphic, stylistic background animations and buttery-smooth scrolling.
The final prototype keeps all of Prime Freight's original content in a cleaner, more focused layout. The project also delivered a documented design system, Figma-ready exports of every page and component state, and social templates the team can reuse.
